Victoria’s Secret charge card – reviews of it? Also, is there a benefit to applying in-store instead of online?

Posted by admin on March 8th, 2010 and filed under store reviews | 2 Comments »

I’m considering applying for the card simply because I shop there often and it seems like it would save me a lot of money with all of the promotions that come along with it. For those who have/have had it, can you share your experience? Also, I know when you apply in-store they give you a book full of coupons. When you apply online do you receive something similar or do you only get those bonus coupons in-store? Employees of VS: it would be great if you could answer as well!

P.S. Please no preaching about the dangers of credit cards. I am well aware of the risks they carry when used irresponsibly. This will be my first and only store-specific charge card.

Thanks for the help =)

Well I don’t know about their card in particular, but I always figure its better to apply in the store if you can just so you can make sure your information is safe.

How can I get rid of a review from 2 years ago about my store?

Posted by admin on March 6th, 2010 and filed under store reviews | 1 Comment »

I have a review of my store from 2008, and I would like to delete it because it is outdated and untrue.

It will never go away. Try asking the same question now and see if some newer and more favorable reviews come up. Then if anyone looks up the question or the store they will see another point of view.

reviews on: CANON EOS 1000D Digital SLR Camera with Canon 18-55 mm EF-S Zoom Lens – 10.1 mp. Quick Please :-)?

Posted by admin on March 2nd, 2010 and filed under review zoom | 3 Comments »

I’m looking to get the CANON EOS 1000D Digital SLR Camera with Canon 18-55 mm EF-S Zoom Lens – 10.1 mp, I only have £400 to spend and this looks like the best camera. Could you review if you have this camera.
Thanks

Here’s a review that hasn’t been given. I own a 1000D and find it a versatile, easy to use, very well built camera that yields superb photos.

I use three lenses with mine, the kit at 18-55, a Tamron 18-200 and a Canon 75-300.

Further review is here. Read my notes please because not all of these were taken with my Canon.
Be aware I’m having excellent luck with night / time exposures, day time colors are brilliant and the camera is very easy and quick to operate – but, you’ve got to read the book and keep it handy for little questions that always seem to come up.

The first 3 shots I took with my Fuji 9000. Good Luck

How do I view the "Document Map" in my Microsoft Word 2007?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under document review | 2 Comments »

I’m typing a review for an exam. I want to be able to have the document map on the side with the name of each section to just click on it so it can take me to the area i need without having to search for it page by page.
Thanks

To enable DOCUMENT MAP:
• On the ribbon Click the VIEW tab
• On the SHOW/HIDE group, check mark the DOCUMENT MAP box
This will open the pane on the left side of the document.

Is it OK to write very bad review for a business?

Posted by admin on February 27th, 2010 and filed under business review | 3 Comments »

I have a business and one person wrote very un-respectful towards me a woman review and this can make my business go bankrupt. Can I sue this person or do something against it?

No. Brush it off and prove you are better than that.

Can you just read an AP Exam study guide such as the Princeton Review’s or do you have to read the textbook?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under review guide | 1 Comment »

Does the Princeton Review Book cover everything that you will need to know for an AP exam so you don’t have to read the textbook?
Or is it necessary to read the textbook to pass with a 4 or higher.

Thanks!

The study guides like Barron’s and Princeton Review are great review tools for brushinf up on the material, reminding you what you learned and giving you a good idea of the kinds of questions that you might see on the AP exam. They are not great for learning the material and not a substitute for a textbook or a class. Remember, AP classes are college level classes. If you could learn the material by reading a small book, why would you even bother going to college, besides the social life :-) .

If you want to do well, learn the material and use the study guides to get an idea if you are ready and to discover what information you need to learn more about.
