Looking for reviews of Car Tune Diagnostic auto shop on Cave Creek! ?

Posted by admin on May 19th, 2012 and filed under auto reviews | 2 Comments »

Hello!

I need my radiator replaced and am considering taking it to a place called Car Tune Diagnostic over on Cave Creek here in Phoenix Arizona… but would love to hear about any experiences you have had.

Thank you!

humbledpie3, The last I knew was that Cave Creek was a very exclusive place to live or own a business, so why not do this:

Buy your own radiator and do the work yourself.

Front wheel drive, or rear wheel drive, a radiator is a radiator, and they are all mounted right in front of the car with usually no more than 2 hoses, these may need changing, and possibly 2 transmission cooler connections at the bottom, and two clips/clamps or bolts at the top.

That’s all there is, just watch out for what comes from where, use a note book if necessary, and remove the hardest to get to connections first, the one’s on the bottom & if you have the transmission cooler lines, and of course the top and bottom radiator hoses.

You’ll need a set of sockets, a pair of pliers or the correct socket, probably with at least 10 inches of extensions to remove the clamps from the hoses, and some fuel line wrenches to loosen the transmission cooler lines. And maybe a longish screwdriver to slide up under the hoses to break the seal so they can be twisted off.

This a really hard job, that just about anybody, man or woman, can do. And no special skills are needed. Just a little time and a willingness to save quite a bit of $.

On Caveat here though, on some imports you will need to bleed off the air from the engine, so buy a temporary subscription to an auto repair site or buy yourself a Haynes manual for your car. These aren’t very good for most auto repairs, but for bleeding off a radiator, they should work just fine.

In future, remember to put your car information in your question. It’s easier to help you.

looking for a powerful portable auto vacuum?

Posted by admin on December 25th, 2011 and filed under auto reviews | 2 Comments »

i got dirt and cigarette ash on the side of the car seat, where the car seat belt attaches!!! and i need a powerful auto vac to fit in that side and suck up all the dirt and debris.
i can’t afford a detailer right now and I’d rather do the job myself.

what auto vac do you recommend?

I’ve been looking on Amazon but I can’t seem to find one decent based on the reviews.
no. i;m not looking for the one you plug into your car.
i have an extension cord that i can use.

I would just get a shop vac, putting a bag in it will help maintain it’s airflow

What do you mean there’s no such thing as a 12v car vacuum i have one it’s a roadpro, i’ve had a black and decker one before, a dirt devil all of them plugged into the cigarette lighter they were not particularly powerful but enough to pick up surface litter

What is torque when it comes to cars?

Posted by admin on May 22nd, 2011 and filed under auto reviews | 2 Comments »

Can someone explain what torque is for me? I dunno anything about cars and when I see auto reviews they show torque along horsepower. I heard having high horsepower don’t always mean ur car will be fast and ur torque has to be certain amount as well.

There are many answers to this question. And they are interesting, as most people think ‘horsepower’ and rarely ‘torque’.

Torque is how hard the engine causes the car to push you. Horsepower is how long the engine can cause the car to push you faster.

Torque is, simply… EVERYTHING. You really don’t "feel" horsepower. The pressure that pushes the car forward is TORQUE. Horsepower is just basically that pressure multiplied over the engine revving up.

"Horsepower is what you read about. Torque is what you feel." I wish I remembered what magazine that quote is from. There’s a reason trying to use more power to undo a bolt with a wrench is associated with the word ‘torquing’.

You can also think of torque as acceleration and horsepower as top speed, although I’m not sure just how accurate that is.

Hope this clears some of this up for you!

Hi, I’m thinking of starting Auto tech at Lincoln tech in Melrose Park. Any reviews or has anyone went there?

How is that school with hands on?

All of those for-profits are over-priced and their certificates are disparaged on the job market.

In current events, those types of schools are fighting with every legal defense and lobbyist they can find trying to forbid that the government regulate them. Lincoln tech might have been a good thing in 1946, but they have changed hands several times to investment groups. The banks know the taxpayer will eventually pay for the loans and the defaulted loans get loaded with high interest rates, penalties and fees.

If you go, plan on never buying a house. Plan on always buying used cars. Don’t bother applying for any kind of government job, or any civilian job with anything related to national security. In some states you can’t even have a hunting license or a checking account with a defaulted student loan.

any FB auto traffic reviews?

Posted by admin on March 12th, 2011 and filed under auto reviews | 1 Comment »

anyone tried FB auto traffic any reviews on it?

Man, this is just plain WEIRD.

My friend Mark discovered a ‘loophole’ in Facebook,
that ACCIDENTALLY made him over $35,000 last month.

This ‘technical glitch’ allows you to log into
your Facebook account… set-up a special type of
‘Fan’ page… and promote affiliate links to tens
of thousands of interested people, at the click of
a button.

It’s so easy, that Mark has VERIFIED testimonials
from more than 30 people who’ve never made a
dime online before… who are now making between
$1,500 and $25,000 per month EACH, by simply logging
into their Facebook accounts and clicking buttons.

I have no idea how long this ‘glitch’ will
remain open — or if FB’s programmers are trying
to fix it. In the meantime, there’s literally
MILLIONS of dollars being siphoned from it daily!

Get in before they close the loophole, at

All the best,

Why do people auto judge movies based on critic reviews?

Posted by admin on July 1st, 2010 and filed under auto reviews | 3 Comments »

I dont get it there a lot of good movies out there that got bad "reviews".. But so what Big Daddy (just an example) got sh*t reviews and I happen to love that movie! Im asking since there is a lot of HYPED movies these week.. …
So please adv some movies that got crap reviews that you really liked
Me personally…
Life w/ Eddie Murphy/Bernie MAc
The Prophecy
and so on. NOt every movie directors intention is to go to the oscars..IMO Twlight was TERRIBLE and it has done nothing but win awards etc..

I think it depends on what the person is into.

For example – I like action movies because they are good fun, but on IMDB and rotten tomatoes, they often have low marks and are panned by critics when they come out (Empire gave Taken 1 out of 5 stars and that movie was awesome!)

A lot of people look to the critics for guidance because they dont want to spend their money going to the cinema to see something which is rubbish. Me personally, If I like the look/story of something then Im going to go see it regardless of what the critics have said because it comes down to your own personal taste.

Its the same with the critics themselves, they may not like something so they give it a bad review – it doesnt necessarily mean that your not going to like that film.

Hope this has helped!

Sorry just realised you wanted some examples, I only listed Taken but there is –

Commando
True Lies
Last Action Hero
Undercover Brother (hilarious)
Dumb and Dumber even got mixed reviews!!!
The new Rambo film was awesome and that got slated as well!

I agree with you on the twilight films – they are awful, I think I got about 10 minutes into the first one and decided they werent for me!

Life is and excellent film as well!

A good Auto Fish Feeder for 58 Gallons?

Posted by admin on June 17th, 2010 and filed under auto reviews | 1 Comment »

I’ve been looking over reviews about fish feeders at amazon. Eheim and Rena. I’m looking for a reliable feeder that can be ajusted easily to the hood or side of tank, that will feed up to 15 days. Pellets or flakes.

Any suggestions?
Do you know how many days the Eheim feeds for?

I wouldn’t recommend a automatic feeder. They could easily malfunction and over feed or starve your fish.If you are going away get someone to look after them.If not, and you absolutely need a automatic feeder i would go for a Eheim.

I’m not sure ,sorry
you could ask the seller thats selling it maybe?
