I have a business and one person wrote very un-respectful towards me a woman review and this can make my business go bankrupt. Can I sue this person or do something against it?

You have to constantly stay with the reporter. It’s annoying, half the time you still get a bad review even if you do everything right.

My business is listed on google and there is a place to leave a review for my services. Someone posted a really nasty and totally fabricated review. The scenario never happened and I think they did it to hurt my business. What recourse do I have? Can I go to a district attorney or someplace and sue them for defamation of character? I happened upon the review by accident and it was posted July 29, 2009. My business has been slower than usual this summer. Can I sue for loss of business?

I suggest that you spend a bit of money and have a business consultant go through your business with you before you make the choice to return the work force. If you have had your business running for two years now and making some money it might be better to find a way for you make more. When a small business owner does all the work for themselves they tend to loose money. It may cost you in the beginning but in the long run it is better. I’ve been to several and just when I think they might be legitimate, they give a "thumbs up" to an opportunity that is a well known scam. Also when you have been to alot of these sites you’ll notice one site will rate an opportunity as good, then another site says it’s a scam. There is a whole bunch of conflicting information.

There are a lot of rip offs out there so be very careful. Most of them want you to give them a lot of upfront money, for which you’ll never see a dime in return. How do I find out who is posting negative and untrue things about me & my business on other review sites, such as ripoffreport, and is there any way to stop them from the slander against me and my online business?

Almost impossible unless the site (ripoffreport) owners don’t involve in this matter. This may be because most of the time people use highly anonymous proxies to hide their identities while involving in such activities.

Can I ask the company that has the review site to delete it or my company profile altogether?

You can ask but I doubt they will. You would have to seek a court order most likely and you probably will not win
