Can a company get in trouble for writing its own product reviews?

My CEO of where I work is writing product reviews and giving them all five stars. It is painfully clear that it is him who is writing them as he has a very distinctive writing voice and also uses industry terms that your average consumer would never, ever use in a review.

Yes, it’s highly unethical.

Likely, he’ll be banned from ever using the review site again and all his reviews will be deleted.

I have some spare money on my hand, and I would like to start a CPA(certified public accountant) exam review company. Can someone give me some advises about the procedures, or anything that would help me get started. How would I distribute the money that I have? I have around 100k. Thanks in advance!

as Susan H accurately said it, if you are not a practicing CPA, very quickly CPA candidates will discover this
and walk or run away. IT also may be illegal to have such a firm and not have the qual’s yourself.

LET me give you a mini example; for a regular service firm –repairing tvs, computers, furniture, cars, etc.,
one does not need to be state certified. However, to have part ownership of a state required cert
biz –doctor’s office, attorney’s office, RE office, psychologists office, etc. one must be a cert/licensed
individual in that field. NON licensed ……..individuals are usually prohibited from being in those fields
as corporate officers and share holders.

Since the inference is that you are not near being a CPA, when candidates ask about you they will
walk away and when the state testing body finds out that you are not thusly licensed, they may
fine you and or worse. I do understand that you want to hire the applicable people who have the CPA designation
but that MIGHT not be sufficient.

Call your intended state testing board and ask them.

Well, the important word in your question is "pose," which means to deceive and deceiving people is unethical, simple as that.

If a company gets bad reviews online, then it should improve its performance rather than digging itself even deeper into a hole of bad customer relations by deceiving their customers with lies.

Never heard of them.

One bad sign is that the website was only registered about 45 days ago. This is normally the sign of a scam artist. Also, ironically, the person who registered it is in the US and not Canada.

Just remember these 2 rules:

Rule 1) No legit lender requires you to pay them money upfront in order to get a loan.

Rule 2) There are no exceptions to Rule 1.

Sun Seed Company Parakeet Economy Mix 25lb- I just bought this very basic mix. Any reviews?

I don’t think this parakeet seed is fortified. I would appreciate comments from anyone who has used this seed over a period of time. Please give a review on the results and health of the birds on this diet.

Not having used this brand I can not really comment on it , but I buy a Basic mix parakeet mix to which I add additional seed, such as Hemp Sunflower. and Safflower.I am not aware of what the ingredients of the "Fortified seed"but normally this means Red Millet, or Japanese Millet.
But to test the quality . take some of the seed , soak it in warm water overnight ,drain , rinse , place somewhere warm. till it sprouts (2-3 days) if it sprouts then it is fine if it does not sprout then it is Old seed.which will not be very nutritional to your birds(you can feed the sprouted seed to your birds )

What is a good company to review their financial statements?

I have to pick a publicly traded, non-financial institution to review their financial statements and do analyses. It also has to be a U.S. based company. I don’t want to get a HUGE company. Those statements would be ridiculous.

Definitely choose a manufacturing company, since its business model is often simpler than a company that provides services. A company like Coca Cola or McDonald’s would be a good choice, even though they are huge companies. I’m looking for company reviews made by employees. Jobvent used to be nice website, but it sold to glassdoor. Glassdoor by itself is also nice, but you can find there only positive reviews, which is not good. So any suggestions will be appreciated.

Can i get free chocolate from a chocolate company if I write reviews for their chocolate? I was looking on the internet and some guy had gotten an email from the company that they would send him some chocolates to review.

Heck just write a company and tell them how much you love their product and they always send free samples or coupons.
