Is it illegal to spread bad reviews about a company?

Posted by admin on August 20th, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 4 Comments »

I tried out a company services and it was so amazingly horrible service I told them I was going to spread bad reviews all over the internet about them. Is that illegal? they said they could go to court if they wanted to but I have hard to believe it.

you got bad service. why WOULDNT you tell someone?

if i get bad service somewhere, i tell EVERYBODY.

if it keeps someone from getting the same shit service i got, then my work here is done.

nothing illegal about it. they wouldnt have reviews sites if it wasnt.

what MIGHT be illegal is if you grossly exaggerate claims. like, say you went to a restaurant and you got crap service and a stomach ache, but you took some pepto bismo and you were fine. if you go on a website and say "the waiter poisoned my food and i had to go to the hospital and get my stomach pumped and then i had to stay there for three days". yeah, THAT might be illegal.

they only threatened court in a pathetic attempt to keep you from posting bad reviews.

Where can I find company reviews written by users?

You can check www.jobvent.com for American companies.

Recently I also found an interesting website that has Indian company reviews www.tayjob.com

Both these websites do not ask you to register or enter any kind of personal information so I am sure the content is genuine.

Wireless Phone Company Reviews?

Posted by admin on August 4th, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 1 Comment »

I want to know of some websites that rate the satisfaction, coverage, etc. for all the major wireless companies. (I know there are companies that do an annual review of them). I am basically looking to compare Verizon and T-Mobile to know which company to go with. Thanks for the help!

I can tell you personally that Verizon is better. I compared them both recently..Everyone should agree on this.

Movie Production Company Percept group – Any reviews that can be given about them ?

I need to learn more about movie production company Percept group. They seem to be different from independent companies, movie studios and production companies in managing raw talents, production of new movies. I got some details at their website at Perceptindia.in
Any more reviews that can be given about them ?

The percept is a perceived form of external stimuli or their absence. Vivid dreams could also be considered as a form of perception without a clear source of external stimuli. The term is primarily used in philosophy and psychology as sense-datum to explain perception. It is important to discern percept from stimuli or their absence. Stimuli are not necessarily translated into a percept and rarely does a single stimulus translate into a percept. Also, absence of adequate stimuli may be translated into multiple percepts, experienced randomly, one at a time, as in some sensory illusions. And the same stimuli, or absence of them, may result in different percepts depending on subject’s culture and previous experiences.

Examples on the left illustrate how the same ambiguous stimuli could give rise to more than one percept. The same lines on the left of the image can be translated into a percept of transparent cube viewed from above or one viewed from below. The shape on the right could be interpreted as a vase or as two faces facing each other.

The percept also binds sensations from all of the senses in a whole. A picture of a talking person on a TV screen, for example, is bound to the sound of speech from speakers to form a percept of a talking person.

The example of transparent cube could also be used to illustrate the difference between cognition and recognition. If we are used to seeing a cube from above much more than from below, we will recognise the transparent cube viewed from above much faster and easier. The view from below would then need a significant cognitive effort that will take a noticeable moment.

In philosophy, ambiguity of stimuli is commented upon by Ludwig Wittgenstein in his Philosophical Investigations (1953), and Rudolf Arnheim in Art and Visual Perception (1954). It is also a term used in Rudolf Steiner’s theory of knowledge, which treats the relation of percept and concept.

Marshall McLuhan declared that he was more interested in percepts than concepts.

Percept is also a term used by Bergson and Deleuze to define perception gone independent from their authors. According to Deleuze, science uses percepts, while art works with affects and philosophy creates concepts.

should i take my care to meineke to get my catalytic converter i heard bad reviews about company?

Posted by admin on July 2nd, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 1 Comment »

Purchase your catalytic convertor at a parts store. They are very expensive and a shop will charge you a mark up on a new one. Then take the convertor to a shop and have them replace it for you.

You can replace it yourself if you’re mechanically inclined and have the tools. The only draw back is the pipes get rusted together really bad and are very difficult in getting apart and normally require a torch to heat them up to remove them.

Where i can find out the reviews of company exporting from China?

Posted by admin on May 28th, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 2 Comments »

I want to import some items for trading from China. The companies given me quotes, how I know these are genuine companies.

The only way to do it bud is to set up a few meets and fly off out there. If you can’t afford to do this then you can’t afford to import simple as that. You only get out what you put in. Good luck!

Why would a Pharmaceutical Company use an Independent Review Organization?

Posted by admin on May 19th, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 1 Comment »

Do Pharmaceutical companies have occasion to perform or outsource medical reviews? If yes, how is this typically performed?

most likely they are paying for an independent review – they try to push their drugs thru as fast as possible with cover-ups.

the food and drug administration used to test drugs – they are too under funded now – as a result we have a society on lethal pills.

Why does a health insurance company request an independent peer review company to review a patient’s appeal?

Posted by admin on May 11th, 2010 and filed under company reviews | 1 Comment »

I am in the middle of a second level appeal with my health insurance company. They are now requesting I sign and send them a release of my medical records to have an outside peer review company investigate my medical records in order to make a decision on my case. Why are they doing this? What should I do? I do not feel comfortable doing this but I also feel they would deny the appeal if I decided not to do this? Anyone know about this or what rights I have regarding this situation?

Thanks!

The outside peer review is an unbiased board, meaning they will just look at, and make their decision on, the facts of the case. This is part of your contract with the insurance company and if you refuse to cooperate the appeal will get dropped. If the appeal is dropped you have no further recourse.
