How can you find out?

i think if you go to the journal’s home page it will say if it is in the "about" section. usually journals that are "well known" are popular are peer reviewed. if you can’t find out check with your professor

Is there a way I can make it so people cannot copy and paste my work from a Microsoft Word document?

At my online school we are suppose to share our word documents with everyone to review. I do not want people copying and pasting MY work and writing it in their own words so is there a way I can like lock the words? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can "Lock" your documents in Microsoft Word. This will prevent unauthorized copying. However, depending on which version of Office you have, will determine how to do it.

I wrote 2 pages on a word document
and my little son accidentally unplugged the main power cord
I didn’t save it
I spent like 5 hours writing the review
is there a way to find that?

If Word doesn’t offer to recover it when you run the programme then you can’t get it back.

I think that will be a great job and i am wondering if they will outsource it and if so what qualifications would someone need? Will this be a process that will take years to fix?

They wil hire some temps. I would expect this to take them about 8 weeks, not years.
