I was looking at the Nikon Coolpix l110, but i’ve read the reviews and some say that one of the cons is the picture quality? Anyways, what’s your favorite compact camera that has good zoom and good picture quality UNDER 300 dollars?!?!

you can consider Nikon Coolpix S8000 14.2 MP Digital Camera with 10x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 3.0-Inch LCD

I have a question regarding the optical zoom equivalent of this lens?

Posted by admin on August 14th, 2010 and filed under review zoom | 3 Comments »

I don’t understand how to calculate the zoom factor of this lens. its the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM Lens. This article (http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-70-200mm-f-4.0-L-IS-USM-Lens-Review.aspx) says the zoom varies from .21x to .45x depending on the extensions used along with the lens. If someone could explain all these things it would be appreciated. Thanks.

The focal length of 70 to 200mm on most Canon DSLRs means a medium tele (70) to a quite powerful tele (200), good for portraits at 70mm or medium range sports photos or wildlife (except very shy wildlife) at 200mm .

I think the .21x and .45x are refering to the macro magnification, not actually the zoom range. In round terms would mean that you could photograph fairly small objects close-up to fill the frame.

The maximum aperture is f4, good for such a lens (lets in a good amount of light). USM is an Ultra Silent focus Motor. IS is Image Stabilisation – helps get a steady shot in poor light.

Can anyone give a full review of the Nike LeBron Zoom V Shoes?

Please give at least 1 paragraph and only write one if you have ACTUALLY purchased this shoe and used it.

The shoes are awsome. i just got mine last week. they look heavy because all of the metal on the shoes, but they are actually pretty light. they look good with almost anything. they are also the best basketball shoes ive ever owned. i really recommend you buy them. at first their kinda uncomfortable but after a couple days of wearing them they will feel better.

Is the olympus Stylus 7030 a good camera i’ve seen amazing reviews but is a 7x zoom good?

7x zoom is ok…. nothing exciting, but ok.

However, I would not want it because it has a maximum of 4 second shutter speed, so you’re very limited in terms of night time motion shots, light graffiti , fireworks etc.

It also has no manual controls, so limited creativity in many ways.

14 megapixels crammed into such a TINY sensor means a lot of noise/grain.

I wouldn’t be happy with it, but I know that some other people aren’t as picky as I am ;-)

Which 10x digital cameras shoot the best picture and movie in low light?

Posted by admin on June 3rd, 2010 and filed under review zoom | 5 Comments »

I am looking for a 10 mpixel camera with a10x (or higher) digital zoom that that does a good job of taking photos and hd videos in low light. I would like to spend less $350. I only found one review discussing a camera’s low light abilities. That review had good things to say about the new a Panasonic except it was critical of of performance in low light.

I would suggestion these are good quality 10x digital cameras (has HD movie recording) :

Nikon Coolpix S8000 : 14.2MP, 10x wide-angle optical Zoom, 3.0-inch VGA (921k-dot) Clear Color Display, 720p HD movie recording, Creative Slider creates pictures, 4-way VR Image Stabilization System, etc. (Announced : February, 2010)

For a Sony DSC-HX5V has a Exmor R" CMOS sensor for stunning low-light performance.

Sony DSC-HX5V : 10.2MP, 10x optical zoom, 3.0 inch LCD, "Exmor R" CMOS sensor for stunning low-light performance, iSweep Panorama Mode captures stunning panoramic images, Fast capture with 10fps, 1080i AVCHD Movie records high-quality HD movies, etc. (Announced : January, 2010)

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 : 12.1MP, 18x POWER Optical Image Stabilized Zoom, 2.7 inch LCD, High Definition (HD) video recording, etc. (Announced : July, 2009)

Does Zoom teeth whitening hurt?

Posted by admin on May 16th, 2010 and filed under review zoom | 1 Comment »

I’m thinking of having my teeth whitened. My dentist recommended Zoom or Pola. I’ve read some reviews and they said that Zoom is very painful especially afterwards and that Pola doesn’t work, and some people said they are both a waste of money. Can anyone give me some advice from experience please, thanks.

If you want white teeth before Spring Break, don’t go to the dentist. Read this article on how to get white teeth for less than $10. http://ow.ly/1tUbO

Can anyone help me with a Nike Zoom Force 1 snow. boots for women review?

Posted by admin on April 27th, 2010 and filed under review zoom | 3 Comments »

I would like to buy a pair of Nike Zoom Force 1 snowboarding boots and the only place I can buy them from is the Internet. (So I can’t try a pair since I can’t find one in Nike shops in my country.)
I’d be grateful if anyone would tell me what shoe model from Nike I should try on so I can get the right size for the snowboarding boots. Also, if anyone has the Zoom Force 1 snow. boot, I’d like ‘em to tell me how they feel, how’s the lacing… Thanks in advance!
I asked about nike shoes vs nike boots cause nike claimed that the boots you get should be the same size as nike shoes… "Cause they’re just that good."
I want them so much cause I heard only good things about them but the only place I can buy them from is the Internet…
I had 2 pairs of Burton boots until now. I want to change the brand. I agree with not trying them on first but I am pretty sure the site has a full refund/change size policy. Unfortunately, Nike stores that have snowboarding boots are very few, and I think that all of them are in the US (I’m in Europe.). I’m gonna pursuit, though, with the buying so thanks for your answers you guys. I’m still waiting for an answer about nike shoes size vs nike boots size.

You are going about this all wrong. You should never get boots because you heard about them.
Everyone’s feet are shaped differently and what works for one person doesnt work for another.

The boots are the most important part of your gear and you should make sure the pair you get a super comfy for you. Never buy boots without trying them on in the store first. When I got my boots, I spent over an hour trying on different pairs at the store. Then I wore my top 2 selections on each foot to compare which one was better and then walked around the store in that pair for 10 mins. I also went a little overboard in that when I got home, I wore the pair for a few hours and just did my thing around the house to make sure I dont get any cramps or anything. Unless you can return the boots for a full refund, you should not buy them online.

You can check out Nike’s website and they will show you retailers near you that carry their products and then you can call them to see if they have them in stock. If not, then you are stuck with the online option, which I would strongly recommend against since you havent tried them on first.

In my opinion Burton makes the best boots. I have tried on many different companies like vans, 32, dc, Salomon, but none of them fit me as good as the burtons. The burton rulers are the only ones that work for me. Even though they are only their mid range boots. I tried the high end ions but they werent as comfy as the rulers. I just got my 3rd pair of rulers in the last 6 years after putting over a 100 days on the first 2 pairs.
You should really check out the Burton Emeralds, supreme or Q boots for women. they are really comfy and speedzone lacing means you can tighten uppper and lower zone to individual levels in under 2 seconds. Pull and then you are done.
My boots are so comfy that when I do daytrips and am not driving, I will just wear them when we start our trip to the mountain which is 4 hours away which means I prolly have them on for about 16 hours a day and there is no problem. But that is my opinion. Go with what feels good for you, but try it on first before you buy it.
