Samsung PL170 Review?

Posted by admin on April 29th, 2011 and filed under samsung review | 1 Comment »

I just bought a samsung pl170 lin purple. How can I make it’s battery last longer? It lasted for 3 hours :( they gave an extra battery! I’m going to use it on sat, 9 April, when should I charge both of the batteries? It has a front LCD screen, does that from LCD screen suck alot of battery when I take pictures through it or is it the same as the traditional way.

You can make a battery last longer by shutting off the LCD’s and not using the flash. Charge both batteries the night before you go out shooting. The front LCD does draw power, and I would shut it off when I’m not using it.

Where can I find a good full review of the samsung UN46D8000YF?

Samsung Impression review.?

Posted by admin on March 16th, 2011 and filed under samsung review | 1 Comment »

I am going to get a phone soon and I really
Really like the samsung impression. I was thinking of the flight but I don’t like the key bored and also I love the screen on the impression I did Alot of research on the impression and I heard I freezes when you text too much but I wouldnt text too much ok enough with the talk what are the pros an con and how often it freezez

"The Samsung Impression is probably the most advanced feature phone in AT&T’s current lineup, and its one of the few phones on the markets with the brilliant, colorful AMOLED screen technology. For calling, media playback and even Web browsing, we found the apps to be very touch friendly, though not too advanced. The keyboard is a nice addition, but the phone lacks most of our favorite messaging options. Mostly, we wish that there were better video playback options to truly take advantage of the impressive screen. Still, the phone was fun to use, and some features came through for us. The camera was better than we expected, and pictures looked great on the 3.2-inch display. Also, GPS performance was good, and we liked being able to geotag those pics. Overall, the Samsung Impression is the best feature phone we’ve tried on AT&T, but we wish the carrier would go farther with messaging and Web browsing options and let these feature phones live up to their full potential. Release: April 2009. Price: $200.
Pros: AMOLED screen is among the best in class. Very good calling features, including great call handling.
Cons: Web browser disappointing. Multimedia could have been better, especially transfer software. Lacks good, modern messaging options. Screen would occasionally register false clicks."

Good Luck! :)

Samsung qx410 review?

Posted by admin on February 6th, 2011 and filed under samsung review | 2 Comments »

I was wondering if anybody could give me a review from personal experience on this Samsung qx410. I heard the screen has washedout colors??? Im either going to buy this or the macbook pro. Don’t know! Hard f-ing decision! Please help!!!

I personally do not own a Samsung qx410, but I have been researching laptops for the past 2 weeks, since I’ll be buying one shortly. After dozens of laptops and hundreds of reviews the Samsung QX410 finally seems like the one I have been looking for.
Fairly long battery life, Core i5 (Which means its fast but doesn’t drain the battery), small, portable, 14", lots of hard drive space, cd/dvd/blu rae drive etc.

After looking at user reviews, there only seems to be one possible issue: When viewing movies in full screen, there is a flicker on the screen. This only seems to happen on rare occasions, based on user reviews. I have not found any one that says there are washed out colours. I have read the contrary a lot, that there are vivid life-like colours on the display.

If you were to buy a Macbook Pro, you’d be paying the $300-$400 exta for the following:
-The Apple Name
-A Slightly better LOOKING machine
-A Slightly longer battery life
-A less powerful computer

In my personal opinion, unless battery life and "sexiness" are the most important factors, go with the Samsung.

Review on samsung rc512 laptop?

Anyone own this laptop or have been looking at it. Can you give me your opinion?

I just spent three hours at Best Buy goofing with it and mulling over a purchase. They just put them on display early this week. There are some things I don’t like about it. Not having a 1080p display while having a blu-ray player comes to mind.. (It’s 768) Also, while the hard drive is large at 750gb, it’s only 5400rpm. That’s not a good compliment to such a bleeding edge processor, and just means more money spent to upgrade. Build quality is solid, and it has monster hardware onboard… I just want to see a review from cnet or engadget before I pull the trigger.

Also, it’s one of the first lappy’s out with the new Core processors. (i7-2630QM)
