There are ten Top Answerers in the dog section and I am sure that they are fairly knowledgeable. What I cannot understand is why other answerers have failed to overtake them. In this I do not doubt the T.A. abilities; however I find it strange that the list of T.A’s appears to have remained unchanged for several months. Does Yahoo review this?
I will confess to being an addict to Q&A’s, nevertheless how do the top answerers cope. In theory, they must answer more questions than I do, how do they cope with exercising and training their dogs and still spend hours answering questions. Do they in fact have dogs? Perhaps like me, they have lost their last dog, however some of them must still have dogs to walk and train.
I have another question about Yahoo questions and answer’s. Although I appreciate that Yahoo has no control if the answerer has access to several computers. It would appear that with just one computer an answerer can vote for themselves. I have always thought that the best answer should be the answer that has the most “thumbs up”. Now I realise that people can ask their friends to give a question the T.U. Is there a way to resolve this?

I answer questions on a regular basis and because we read the same questions over and over again, I save my answers, then copy and paste them to save time. I know that the other regular answerers will be bored by the answers from “my archives”. However my thoughts are, that most of the askers are “here today and gone tomorrow”. My apologies to the regulars who will be fed up with the answers pasted from “my archives”.
I must admit that I admire the “Top Answerers” who have a small % of Best Answers. I feel that their answers are genuine; consequently they have no need to rely on their friend to vote for them.
Hi Dorothy. I’m a top answerer and confess to spending FAR too much time on here. Yes, I do have dogs – 4 of them and I work. I don’t go much on housework though!
My dogs are groomed – at the moment, that’s a lot of work as I have 2 double coated breeds and plenty of mud around however, they are not bathed or clipped or faffed around with. My dogs are trained, not every day but I go to training one night a week (Monday evenings, you’re safe from me on YA!) My dogs are exercised, when I have a sit down after walking them, I’ll sit down at the computer. I don’t watch much TV these days, I’d rather waste my time at the PC than watching some mindless soap or reality TV. However, I don’t waste my time voting for myself, or giving myself T.U – I’m really not that sad! I quite often answer Qs with answers I know the asker (or other answerers) won’t like.
I don’t always agree with your answers, but respect them because you are obviously anewering from your own experience – just as I do & I know you don’t always agree with me!
In answer to your 1st question, I don’t believe that TAs is updated very often, although I think I’ve slipped down a place. Not sure whether it covers just the UK site, all english speaking or the world?

Personally Gran Turismo 4 not only has the graphics but the cars and everything about the game is more authentic and realistic BUT it feels like something is missing. GT3 has a lot about it and is the favourite of all racing games personally. It has killer cars and killer gameplay after all these years.

I have been planning to go to columbia in chicago for a while now
i am in my first year of college at IU and planning on transfering to columbia
for my sophmore year for film and ive bin so fixated on the school since i heard mnay things about it and aall my friends in my tv class in HS is there. But then i recently started doin deeper research and found that columbia has mixed reviews and is not even in the top ten film schools. Then i found vancouver and saw that it is very legit with only one year programs.
Since it is lil too late to apply to vancouver im trying to find the best strategy to get there?
should i finsh my sophmore year at columbia with some film work, then transfer?
or get my BA then transfer for special effect or another field?
or shuld i just stay at columbia?
Or stay at IU save up for a camera and make my own stuff without school?
if anyone has been down this road of film or any alumni or anyone with expeierence with this can help me, it would be greatly appreciated?

I don’t entirely agree with the list, but I understand the spirit in which it was intended. To be honest, there are probably very few things that I need that didn’t exist in 1999. Even smart lighting, in home elevators and side airbags existed in 1999. So, no, I don’t think the list is that great, but it’s probably the best we can hope for.

I currently feed my Lhasa Apso and my Jack Russell terrier Pedigree but after reading some reviews about corn being bad for your dog (correct me if I am wrong) I don’t think I want to feed my dogs that any more since corn is mentioned twice in the top ten ingredients. What is another good dry dog food that I can feed my loved ones?
Taste of the Wild, Innova EVO, Nutro, Orijen, Blue Buffalo and Kirkland brand dog food (from costco) are pretty good.
I switched my dog from Eukanuba (contains corn) to TOTW (grain free) and he did have trouble adjusting just be the corn basically turns to sugar and can be somewhat addictive, but now he’s doing well and I am very happy with TOTW. I’m actually saving money with it.

Ha but I don’t know what an article review looks like? How do I start one and how do I let the reader know about the original article? I tried looking up examples with no luck. Can anyone help?
OK, my slow internet isn’t opening the article. But an article review looks the same as a book review.
Start with stating which article you are reviewing and who wrote it.
Give a summary of the article. ie. "In this article so and so writes about poverty and lists its causes as…blah" or whatever. Give enough so that someone can know what the article is about without reading it.
Then add an opinion section, do you agree with it? Why or why not? If not, what is wrong with the article? Was it one sided, biased or narrow?
Like a book jacket review of a book. After reading the book do you agree with the jacket review or not?
Me and my best friend are thinking of going here for a holiday in July 2010. I checked the prices and they seem reasonable, it also seems like a lovely hotel and got great reviews. One thing I’m wondering though is what type of crowd stays there? A young lovely one? Families? What? It was in the top ten of party hotels in Ibiza but I’m still not sure.. We’re definately looking to stay somewhere with a mainly younger crowd, people in their twenties. Can anyone help with this?

I have never stayed at the hotel you have mentioned. However, I did get back Ibiza 6 days ago and our hotel was amazing. It had an amazing atmosphere with 80% of the hotel guests being under 25.
The hotel I stayed at was in San Antonio Bay called ”Aparthotel Bahia” we booked through First Choice and went with ”Freestyle” aka 2wentys. Absolutely fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. Perhaps you could check it out? The hotel is 4star and has beautiful surroundings even though it is a 5 minutes walk from the West End.

1 – On "top ten" he said Mich. was the BEST all time school for pumping out good NFL Players, the idea was the schools ranked to #1 had to give out the most NFL Players that did good things like Pro Bowls and Super Bowls and records ect…. and Michigan was ranked #5 or 6 or w/e and he was FURIOUS.
