If intelligent design is to be treated as an equal scientific theory, then it only makes sense that it should be subject to the same peer review process as every other theory, right?
So, what could be used as evidence to support it? Of course, the Bible couldn’t be used because it’s a book, not evidence, and it wouldn’t hold up. So, what tangible evidence would you submit?
Folks, I know the score, I’m just giving ‘em a fair shake and helping them realize "Oh..uh…it really isn’t science after all."
It is not science, it has been tried before and it failed.
It is just fantasy dreamed up to support some religious mumbo-jumbo.
Why do you think only Americans believe in it and the developed world doesn`t give it house room ?

Clearly, you’re not familiar with the movement.
Intelligent design goes like this:
ID: "<insert genuine mystery here> is a genuine mystery, and we don’t know what it is or how it happens."
Scientist: "True. But I’ve got a few dozen leads here, and we need to get to the business of funding a few research labs that seem to be on the verge of finding viable explana–"
ID: "I propose that a wizard did it. Can you come up with an alternate explanation?"
Scientist: "…"
ID: "So we agree that a wizard did it. Next topic: Is the wizard the Christian God?"

Creation science (IDiot) is an oxymoron.
I have a B.A. in Anthropology. Evolution is science and fact.

It canNOT be done because it is not only NOT an ‘equal scientific theory’ it is NOT a scientific theory, or even part of science at all.

I think about 90% of ID is just an irrational and dishonest attack on evolution. So, there’s not really any substance to test.

How about the fact that no evidence has been found for evolution. No fossils have been found for homo erectus, the neanderthals, or any of those other things. They were all made up by godless socialist scientists.

There is enough evidence to fill books, so space does not permit a listing here. If you truly are interested, check out the on-line book below, it’s completely free to read.

They bank all their hopes on irreducible complexity. They tried the human eye, but that was debunked. Then they tried bacterial flagellae, but that was debunked. Behe should be a good source of what’s new in the zoo of undercover creationist pseudoscience.

You put forth a fair question. I don’t think it would stand up to scientific peer review and that seems to be the reason that it only shows up in shadowy forums and websites proclaiming creationism as truth.
