looking for a powerful portable auto vacuum?

Posted by admin on December 25th, 2011 and filed under auto reviews | 2 Comments »

i got dirt and cigarette ash on the side of the car seat, where the car seat belt attaches!!! and i need a powerful auto vac to fit in that side and suck up all the dirt and debris.
i can’t afford a detailer right now and I’d rather do the job myself.

what auto vac do you recommend?

I’ve been looking on Amazon but I can’t seem to find one decent based on the reviews.
no. i;m not looking for the one you plug into your car.
i have an extension cord that i can use.

I would just get a shop vac, putting a bag in it will help maintain it’s airflow

What do you mean there’s no such thing as a 12v car vacuum i have one it’s a roadpro, i’ve had a black and decker one before, a dirt devil all of them plugged into the cigarette lighter they were not particularly powerful but enough to pick up surface litter

Looking for an auto review site?

Posted by admin on December 22nd, 2011 and filed under auto review | 1 Comment »

I had a great free site that was all about User reviews of different cars and trucks, broken down by make / model / year.

Any recommendations? When I google it, all I get are pay sites.
Thanks Ed

Close, but I’m looking for USER reviews. People discussing cars they own and drive, the best experience.

thetruthaboutcars.com

edmunds.com

truecar.com

All of them are free and i don’t work for any of them.

Can a company get in trouble for writing its own product reviews?

Posted by admin on December 19th, 2011 and filed under company reviews | 3 Comments »

My CEO of where I work is writing product reviews and giving them all five stars. It is painfully clear that it is him who is writing them as he has a very distinctive writing voice and also uses industry terms that your average consumer would never, ever use in a review.

Yes, it’s highly unethical.

Likely, he’ll be banned from ever using the review site again and all his reviews will be deleted.

I got a negative review on my business page on yelp how can I remove it?

Posted by admin on December 17th, 2011 and filed under business review | 2 Comments »

I got a negative review on my yelp business page and It is a lie it is also bringing my business down, please let me know how I can remove it. Thank you

Your best bet is to post a response to the review, even it is not from a real customer, and tell them that you are willing to do whatever it takes to make them happy. This will show other potential customers that you care about customer service and your business. If you can prove that the review is fake, or violates community guidelines, you may want to contact Yelp and ask that it be removed.

How to write an Article Review?

Posted by admin on December 14th, 2011 and filed under document review | 1 Comment »

I’ve got an assignment in for next week and I’ve got to write an article review. The contents about the origins of World War I, but that’s not really relevant.

I’m at Uni so i’ve never had to write one before – is it just like writing a Document Analysis or do i just write an essay? What sort of things should i be picking out? I’ve read it through (14 pages long!) and wirtten notes on it, its just a case of getting started.

Thanks.

The history of international relations in the late 19th and early 20th twentieth centuries has been inextricably bound with the origins of the First World War. The sheer scale of the war has led generations of academics to endow it with a sense of inevitability. However, we should pause briefly and consider some of the following observations and questions. If the international system was so militarised, why did a general European war not break out much earlier? After all, the 44 years of great power peace between 1871 and 1914 was the longest period of great power peace in Europe until the end of the Cold War. Why were so many crises, recited by generations of students as signs of weakness in the international system, resolved without recourse to war? Historians have, until very recently, largely ignored an alternative question: ‘Why was peace maintained for over four decades?’ Only by answering this question can we fully appreciate why war broke out in 1914. We should no longer view those like Stefan Zweig, the Austrian novelist, who saw the world before 1914 as a ‘golden age of security’, as complacent or naïve. Asking why great power peace was maintained for over four decades enables us to re-assess what might be called the ‘old reliables’ of the origins of the First World War – the alliances and diplomacy, imperial expansion, public opinion, the role of the military, and the international economy.

what do you think of the Nyko Zoom for Kinect?

Posted by admin on December 11th, 2011 and filed under review zoom | 1 Comment »

the ideal space needed for kinect is 1.8m i have less than 1.6m how does this work have there been good reviews for this, does it just clip on?

Hi, i have thought about getting one of these, they were announced ages ago, and i have been awaiting their release date, i have a rather small room so i thought it would be perfect as i am rather close to the device and it doesn’t always pick my movements up properly. The Nyko zoom itself is a clip on attachment for the kinect device, and i believe that it works by using another lens that zooms out more, a bit like that if you were to look through a pair of binoculars the wrong way around. as for reviews, i am unsure, but i imagine it could be a big seller this Christmas, and i cant see no reason why it should not work to the spec that the company describe it. hope this helps somewhat :)

Request a Document from your Employer?

Posted by admin on December 10th, 2011 and filed under document review | 3 Comments »

If my mother signed a document at work to become successfully employed, can she request the same document to review it at a later time? Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

I don’t know that they have to produce the document. If their is a lawsuit involved the court can order the company to turn it over. Other than that she may be out of luck.

Unless she works for the government if so anybody can request it under the freedom of info act but that is only for government workers.

How to start a CPA exam review company?

Posted by admin on December 6th, 2011 and filed under company reviews | 3 Comments »

I have some spare money on my hand, and I would like to start a CPA(certified public accountant) exam review company. Can someone give me some advises about the procedures, or anything that would help me get started. How would I distribute the money that I have? I have around 100k. Thanks in advance!
I may not be qualified, but I can hire those who’s qualified.

as Susan H accurately said it, if you are not a practicing CPA, very quickly CPA candidates will discover this
and walk or run away. IT also may be illegal to have such a firm and not have the qual’s yourself.

LET me give you a mini example; for a regular service firm –repairing tvs, computers, furniture, cars, etc.,
one does not need to be state certified. However, to have part ownership of a state required cert
biz –doctor’s office, attorney’s office, RE office, psychologists office, etc. one must be a cert/licensed
individual in that field. NON licensed ……..individuals are usually prohibited from being in those fields
as corporate officers and share holders.

Since the inference is that you are not near being a CPA, when candidates ask about you they will
walk away and when the state testing body finds out that you are not thusly licensed, they may
fine you and or worse. I do understand that you want to hire the applicable people who have the CPA designation
but that MIGHT not be sufficient.

Call your intended state testing board and ask them.

KEEP me attunded; if I am wrong, i will be glad to help promote your service.
