Classic Game Room reviews GRAND THEFT AUTO 2 for Playstation

Posted by admin on September 4th, 2009 and filed under auto review | 25 Comments »

This isn’t a new GTA review for the PS3 or Xbox 360… this is 1999! Classic Game Room season 1 – December 8, 1999.

Back in the day before Game Room had a green screen, lighting or a real microphone they reviewed GTA2 for the PS1. Too bad they didn’t get to review GTA Vice City, San Andreas, GTA3 or… but maybe, just maybe someday they will.

This was their 2nd episodic review and the GTA series is now one of the most profitable of all time. You play a thug, gangsta low life criminal and it’s fun!!

Classic Game Room was the first classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999 and 2000. They reviewed Atari games, Sega Genesis, NES, N64, Nintendo, Jaguar and PSX (ps1) games. The story of the show is on DVD and available at Amazon.com

Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and ed – Video Review (HD)

Posted by admin on August 26th, 2009 and filed under auto review | 25 Comments »

Here is a video review of the most anticipated downloadable content (DLC) to ever hit the Xbox 360, Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and ed.
Enjoy!

GTA4: The Lost and ed Information:
Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and ed is the first of two planned episodic expansion packs to be developed for the Xbox 360 version of the sandbox-style action-adventure video game Grand Theft Auto IV, developed by Rockstar North. The first episodic pack was released on Xbox Live on 17 February 2009.
The Lost and ed features a new protagonist, Johnny Klebitz, who is a member of Liberty City’s biker gang The Lost, a gang which is featured in several missions throughout the course of Grand Theft Auto IV. Dan Houser, vice president of creative development at Rockstar Games, claims the episode will show “a different side of Liberty City”. Jeronimo Barrera, Vice President of Product Development for Rockstar Games, has said that the episodes are experiments because they are not sure that there are enough users with access to online content on the Xbox 360. Take-Two Interactive’s Chief Financial Officer, Lainie Goldstein revealed that Microsoft was paying a total of $50 million for the first two episodes. The Lost and ed is the first Grand Theft Auto game to show full-frontal male nudity.

Gameplay:

Plot:
The Lost and ed follows the story of Johnny Klebitz, a member of the motorcycle gang “The Lost” based in Alderney, a state adjacent to Liberty City. Johnny is the vice-president of the gang and currently in charge while their leader, Billy Grey, is in rehab. In his time as leader, Johnny has pursued truces and civil relationships with the other motorcycle gangs, believing it most beneficial for the gang and an opportunity to maximise profits in drug deals, but Billy is soon released and resorts to his violent tactics, believing that slaughtering their enemies is the way forward. Johnny and Billy clash over the leadership and direction of the gang, while having to defend themselves from attacks by rival gangs, such as the “Angels of Death”.
At several points throughout the course of the game, the plot intertwines with events from Grand Theft Auto IV and are seen and played out from Johnny’s perspective.
