I’m only a junior but I know this year is critical in terms of grades and activities I join. I’ve done renaissance in 9th grade and all through middle school. In 7th and 8th grade I was in national junior honor society. Also in 8th grade I was in top ten of my class…I think I was number 8. I did track 7th and 8th grade. In 9th grade I did lacrosse. Last year in 10th grade I didn’t do any clubs or sports but this year I plan to do tennis in the fall and maybe track in the spring?? Also I plan on being in renaissance this year along with a few other clubs. I am going to be a junior volunteer at a hospital this year and also I’m getting a part time job. I’m taking 4 AP’s this year and I took 1 Ap last year ( I got a 4). I’ve always been on the high honor roll. I don’t know my GPA but I think it should be high considering I have’t gotten a grade below a 90 on my report card. I haven’t taken my SAT yet but I bought 2 review books for it: Kaplan & Princeton. Do you think I have a chance of getting into an ivy league school like NYU, Columbia, Brown or Princeton??? I live in NY by the way so I’m looking for a college fon the east coast. I wanna be a RN and/or an accountant
Also I was in band 6th & 7th grade. *th grade I was in color guard. I was in select chorus in 8th grade also. 9th grade I was in concert choir
Well, try to volunteer at a hospital or animal shelter, that will help a lot! Also, continue to load your schedule with hard classes. You will be up late every night but its worth it! Keep up the good work!
